Born in Milan on July 4th, 1967 and grown up in Cremona, Zanoni got interested in music at the age of seven when he started studying the guitar. Later, he attended Conservatoire A. Boito in Parma, studying the piano and music composition for four years. At the age of seventeen, he began working with local bands. Maestro Roberto Cipelli (Paolo Fresu Quintet, Sheila Jordan) helped him acquiring deeper knowledge of arrangement and harmony and, in 1998, he attended the 10th Nuoro Jazz Seminary (piano, harmony, ensemble music). He has been building his career in music as an artistic director, keyboardist, bassist, guitarist, arranger, producer since 1986. He has worked in live performances, recording studios and TV shows, collaborating with several artists, such as Gianni e Marcella Bella, Paola Turci, Aleandro Baldi, Piergiorgio Farina, Shel Shapiro, Lucio Dalla, Fiorella Mannoia, Maurizio Vandelli, Umberto Smaila, Ivana Spagna, Demo Morselli. In 1991, he conducted the orchestra of the 41th edition of Sanremo (Italian Music Festival). In 1992, in collaboration with Shel shapiro, he took part in the rock comedy “Backstage – The Great Dream” (lyrics by Gianni Minà e Sergio Bardotti) as a music director, arranger, keyboardist and music programmer. He also teaches in music schools and Masterclasses and, in 2019, he published on Udemy a video course called “LOGIC PRO X- A Complete Guide for Basic Users”. In 1997, he took part in Sanremo Music Academy with his band Cortocircuito. He has collaborated with several orchestras in TV shows, such as “Music Farm” (RAI 2), “Domenica In” (RAI 1), “Roxy Bar”, “Taratata” and musicals like “Cats”, “High School Musical” and “Happy Days” (a “Compagnia della Rancia” production) and “La Bella e la Bestia” and “Dirty Dancing”, produced by Stage Entertainment. In 2011, he partecipated as a keyboardist to “CATS ALL’ARENA DI VERONA”, a unique event organized by Compagnia della Rancia. He is an “Apple Certified Trainer” since 2017.

In 2019, he was a lecturer at “Generazione-Generazioni” (Madonna Della Neve Andro -BS School), a conference for middle and high school students. In the same year, he was Thesis Co-Advisor for Federica Matera at G. Verdi Conservatoire in Como and he later produced her CD “Ti prometto” (in collaboration with Lele Melotti, Marco Orsi, Lorenzo Poli, Giorgio Cocilovo). In 2020, he founded “Logic Pro X Italia by Marco Zanoni”, a community aiming at spreading knowledge of music production, use of the main music softwares available and sound design. He also organizes seminars and conferences with professionals and experts. As a score composer, he is mentioned in several sound libraries for TV, radio and multimedia shows. In 2020, he worked as a keyboardist, arranger and music director for the TV show “The Voice of Italy” (RAI 1).
